Samsung ice maker not working. There are several reasons why an ice maker might not be working. If the ice maker does not appear to be producing enough ice, low water pressure or a dirty water filter may be to blame.

Faulty Ice Maker Assembly
If one of the components in the ice maker is at fault, you’ll need to replace the assembly. First, isolate which component out of the ice unit may be malfunctioning by checking each part individually for leaks or drips.
Once you’re sure that the water supply valve, water line, and fan aren’t at fault, buy a new ice maker assembly to solve your problem.
If this happens immediately after installing a new refrigerator water filter, try uninstalling it and see if this resolves your problem. Making sure all things are well with your refrigerator’s water outlet will ensure the best outcome here!
Ice Level Control Board Defect
Some ice maker control boards are activated by the ice bucket. When the bucket is full of ice, it interrupts an infrared beam that turns off the control board.
