Dryer Won’t Start
The thermal fuse is a safety device designed to protect the dryer from overheating. The fuse is located on the blower housing or at the dryer’s heat source such as the heating element on electric dryers or at the burner (“burner assembly”) on gas models.
The fuse should be closed for continuity meaning it has a continuous electrical path through it when good. If overheated, the vent of your dryer may have become restricted, thus causing your thermal fuse to overheat.
Be aware that a blown thermal fuse is an indication of improper venting from your dryer to the outside replacing your physical fused object will not solve this problem by itself and should therefore be checked by a professional.

Overheating issue
The heating element heats the air before the air enters the drying drum. If the heating element is partially shorted out, it may produce heat continuously even if the dryer has reached its proper temperature.
When this happens, the dryer gets too hot. To determine if it is the heating element that is at fault, use a multimeter to test each terminal of the heating element for continuity by pressing a probe against each terminal.
If at least one terminal has continuity to the casing then it is shorted out; you should replace it. If it’s not already obvious, clogged ventilation will restrict airflow and considerably increase drying time.
This means your clothes won’t be dried properly from all sides equally as they should be. So plan on cleaning your venting system at least once per year.
The Samsung dryer has stopped spinning
The drive belt is a very long, slender belt that wraps all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive motor pulley. Over time, the belt can break from normal use.
If the belt is broken, the dryer won’t turn on. To quickly determine if the belt is broken, reach into the dryer and turn the drum by hand. If it turns freely, there’s a good chance that it is broken.
Next, inspect whether it has some visible tears or other indicators of damage. The best way to check for wear and tear is to disassemble your old belt in order to compare them side-by-side then you can simply replace your old one with a new one.
The dryer won’t shut off

In order to ensure proper dryer performance, you should clean your dryer’s venting system at least once per year. The blower wheel of a dryer draws air up through the lint trap and pushes out air that gets sucked in by belts that spin at an incredibly fast rate.
Clumps of lint bunnies, socks, and small articles of clothing can escape the lint filter and get caught in the blower wheel sleeve which causes it to not function properly making it necessary to clean your lint trap more often than usual.
If there are objects stuck to your lint screen or if it takes too long to dry clothing on one cycle, then you need to clean out your dryer’s vent process as soon as possible because over time this problem can get worse.
Breaker tripped
The circuit breaker in your electric dryer is of great importance. They are there to keep you and your clothes safe from electrical fires and other hazards that may go along with faulty wiring.
They might last a lifetime but over time they can become weak and prone to tripping more quickly than expected. If you feel as though the circuit breaker is weak.

The dryer makes noise
The belt that drives the dryer drum is a long, slender belt that wraps around the drum, across a tension pulley, and then around the motor assembly.
