A homemade cleaning mixture of vinegar and baking soda will remove scum from your tub within minutes. First, pour undiluted white vinegar into a clean, empty spray bottle.

When the gel coating of the fiberglass hardens, it changes color. Depending on the type of gel, you would have to wait for it to dry completely.
Once dried completely remove the plastic and tape and then wipe the residue off with a clean rag and some acetone.
Try not to use water as water can make things worse because each coat has its own curing time so depending on this.
