Besides having it on hand for when you need it, regular maintenance can reduce the chance of
needing to replace it altogether especially repairing the more common components such as clogged drains or replacing older fans that may have been malfunctioning.
If you follow this advice and manage to avoid further complications by avoiding additional damage then chances are good that you won’t need to replace the compressor after all.
