Belt For Water Pump
The dishwasher water pump belt may be worn or broken. A water pump belt is not found on the majority of dishwashers.
Consult your model number to find out whether you do indeed have a water pump belt.
To access the water pump belt, you must remove the lower panel on your dishwasher.
The water pump belt can then be located below the motor and could easily be changed if worn or broken.
Please note that because this type of water pump runs solely off electricity it may still drain even when no power is being supplied to it.
If it does appear that your new replacement part isn’t working all too well, try rebooting your power supply before consigning the appliance to parts unknown.
Problem With Circulation Pump
Water is forced through the wash arms by the motor and impeller of the circulation pump. If it’s defective, dishes won’t be cleaned properly.
The problem may not always be with the motor or the impeller; sometimes, debris can clog up a pump house and prevent an impeller from turning.
First check that power is getting to the house, then use a long-handled brush to reach inside the house and remove any blockages.
You could need to replace a faulty pump in your Bosch dishwasher, which may make things quite difficult if you aren’t particularly handy.
Inlet Valve For Water
The water inlet valve is important to have your dishwasher work properly. It allows water to enter the dishwasher so that it can carry out its job of cleaning your dishes.
However, if this valve is clogged or defective, it will not allow enough water into the machine and in turn, you’ll have a machine that’s not working as it should be.

If your dishes aren’t coming out clean, you may have a clogged Upper Wash Arm, which can be fixed by removing, unclogging, and then reinserting it back into place properly.
If after trying this out you still have issues with the Upper Wash Arm, consider replacing it altogether.
Defective Wash Impeller
Wash arms are equipped with a small plastic impeller that forces water out of the arms.
If the impeller gets damaged or missing some of its fins, it might not generate enough pressure to force the water up through the wash arms.
Wash impellers can be replaced independently of the pump and motor assemblies on most models. To find out if your impeller can be replaced, search for your model number.
The pump and motor assembly will need to be replaced if the impeller cannot be replaced separately.
Assembly For Pump and Motor
If the motor of a dishwasher is bad it means that it’s not sending power to the pump which is responsible for pushing water through the wash arms and up into the tub where all of your dishes sit while they’re getting cleaned.
If there’s water in your sink and none in your machine, inspect the pump with a flashlight to see if it’s working properly.
If you find an issue with the pump, you can replace it with a new one or take the whole assembly.
